All is not well with the Carolina Hurricanes. A four game winless skid has thrown them to the depths of the Eastern Conference, and so changes must be made. The lines from this morning’s skate feature some combinations and placements we haven’t seen before/in a while, but perhaps the novelty will spark a crucial performance to salvage a bit of this homestand.

Pittsburgh comes into tonight looking to end a skid of their own, having lost their last two the Blue Jackets and Red Wings. Notably missing from their ranks due to illness will be Nick Bonino, who has been a coaches depth scoring dream since joining the Pens.
