Jordan Staal was in the starting lineup for Saturday night’s game against the Nashville Predators. Before he came off the ice, he had given the Carolina Hurricanes a 1-0 lead.
He nearly scored a few seconds before as Sebastian Aho tipped a pass forward to him and he pushed it wide, but then the Preds turned the puck over to Jaccob Slavin and his shot was tipped home by Staal for his 14th of the season.
