Columbus Blue Jackets at Carolina Hurricanes: Lines and Rosters

Hurricanes to ice the same lineup as Tuesday, Cam Ward starts in net.

In the midst of a franchise-best point streak of 12 games, the Carolina Hurricanes won’t mess with the lineup that got them a 4-1 win against the Red Wings on Tuesday.

Here’s how Carolina will look tonight against the Columbus Blue Jackets:

Sebastian Aho - Jordan Staal - Elias Lindholm
Joakim Nordstrom - Victor Rask - Teuvo Teravainen
Jeff Skinner - Derek Ryan - Lee Stempniak
Brock McGinn - Lucas Wallmark - Phil Di Giuseppe

Jaccob Slavin - Brett Pesce
Noah Hanifin - Justin Faulk
Klas Dahlbeck - Matt Tennyson

Cam Ward
Alex Nedeljkovic

Scratches: Ryan Murphy (lower-body), Jay McClement (lower-body), Eddie Lack (neck strain)

McClement did skate this morning in a yellow non-contact jersey. He has missed eight games with a lower-body injury.

The Blue Jackets are firmly placed near the top of the Eastern Conference, but they still have seeding to play for down the stretch.

They likely won’t catch up to the Washington Capitals for the East’s top seed, but they have the Pittsburgh Penguins hot on their trail for the second spot in the conference and division. The Canes may catch a break, with the Jackets’ website expecting Joonas Korpisalo (1-3-0 since March 1) to start in place of the scorching-hot Sergei Bobrovsky, he of the 9-0-1 record in March.

Here’s how they’re projected to line up tonight:

Brandon Saad - Alexander Wennberg - Nick Foligno
Boone Jenner - Brandon Dubinsky - Cam Atkinson
Matt Calvert - William Karlsson - Josh Anderson
Scott Hartnell - Lukas Sedlak - Sam Gagner

Zach Werenski - Seth Jones
Jack Johnson - David Savard
Markus Nutivaara - Kyle Quincey
