If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
The Carolina Hurricanes will, once again, roll with the same lineup on Saturday night against the Dallas Stars.
The only change for Carolina will be the return of Eddie Lack, who is healthy enough to backup Cam Ward. Alex Nedeljkovic, who served as Ward’s backup in Lack’s absence, has been assigned to the Florida Everblades of the ECHL.
Here’s how the Hurricanes will lineup tonight:
Sebastian Aho - Jordan Staal - Elias Lindholm
Joakim Nordstrom - Victor Rask - Teuvo Teravainen
Jeff Skinner - Derek Ryan - Lee Stempniak
Brock McGinn - Lucas Wallmark - Phil Di Giuseppe
Noah Hanifin - Justin Faulk
Jaccob Slavin - Brett Pesce
Klas Dahlbeck - Matt Tennyson
Cam Ward
Eddie Lack
Scratches: Jay McClement (lower-body), Ryan Murphy (lower-body)
After a wonderful breakout season a season ago, the Dallas Stars are now in the bottom third of the Western Conference and eliminated from playoff contention.
They’ll look to help play spoiler on the Hurricanes on Saturday.
Here’s how they’re projected to lineup tonight:
Jamie Benn - Cody Eakin - Ales Hemsky
Remi Elie - Tyler Seguin - Brett Ritchie
Jason Dickinson - Radek Faksa - Devin Shore
Curtis McKenzie - Adam Cracknell - Jason Spezza
Esa Lindell - John Klingberg
Patrik Nemeth - Greg Pateryn
Dan Hamhuis - Stephen Johns
Kari Lehtonen
Antti Niemi
Expect some changes here as Hemsky is listed as day-to-day and McKenzie is nursing an eye injury. They called up forwards Gemel Smith and Justin Dowling to account for the holes in the lineup.
We’ll update this as information becomes available.
