Watch: Justin Faulk Sets Hurricanes Franchise Record in Defenseman Goal Scoring

Faulk’s 17th sets a new benchmark for defenseman goal scoring for the Hurricanes.

Justin Faulk scored his 17th goal of the season to pull the Carolina Hurricanes within a goal of the Pittsburgh Penguins on Sunday.

The odd bank shot set a new Hurricanes franchise record for defenseman single-season goal scoring.

It was a powerplay goal for Faulk. Sebastian Aho (25) and Elias Lindholm (34) got the assists.
