Jeff Skinner gave the ‘Canes the 2-1 lead heading into the first intermission as he scored at the 19:31 mark of the first period. Skinner’s goal was his 36th of the season and his fourth in the past four games. Noah Hanifin and Brett Pesce are credited with the assist on Skinner’s goal.
