Only one major upset in the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs means that it’s jam-packed at the top of the standings for the 2017 Canes Country Playoff Pick ‘Em Challenge benefitting the Bryan and Amanda Bickell Foundation.
But that said, if you’d like to enter, you’re welcome to do so! You still have a chance to finish in the top five, but you’d better be exactly right the rest of the way through, with 31 points available from here to the end of the competition.
Here are the standings after Round 2, with 28 points available. A couple of folks came really close to a clean sweep, especially Justin, who was one game off from picking every series exactly right:
If you’re new to the pick ‘em: this year, we’re doing the competition for the benefit of the Bryan and Amanda Bickell Foundation in celebration and honor of Bryan Bickell’s career. We’re asking for a $5 donation, although you may certainly donate more if you’d like. The winner will receive a $50 gift card of your choice, and the remainder of the pot will be a donation to the Bickell Foundation on behalf of Canes Country’s readers.

- Comment on this post with the winner of each series and how many games. For the second round, you get two points for the correct winner, and the standard five bonus points if you also get the number of games correct.

- All picks must be in by puck drop of the first game of the third round, which is Friday, May 12, at 9:00 p.m. Comments will be closed at that time.
