The situation is simple for the Hurricanes tonight: win, and they will play for their second consecutive tournament title tomorrow night. Lose, and the Canes will be at the mercy of the tiebreaker.

Fortunately for the Canes’ prospects, they’re in solid shape to move on to the championship game against the Blue Jackets tomorrow. Each goaltender has recorded a win, the Canes are getting balanced scoring and opportunistic power play goals, and defensively the team has been the stingiest in the tournament, allowing a tournament-low two goals.

The Canes are keeping their roster largely the same tonight, with the only changes being Brendan De Jong swapping in for Adam Thilander and Callum Booth getting the call in net, presumably to save Jeremy Helvig for Tuesday to follow up his 19-save shutout of the Red Wings on Saturday.

Projected lines:

Warren Foegele - Martin Necas - Nick Schilkey
Janne Kuokkanen - Nicolas Roy - Spencer Smallman
Stelio Mattheos - Andrew Poturalski - Julien Gauthier
Hudson Elynuik - Morgan Geekie - Luke Boka

Haydn Fleury - Josh Wesley
Jake Bean - Roland McKeown
Noah Carroll - Brendan De Jong

Callum Booth
Jeremy Helvig

Scratches: Adam Thilander, Steven Lorentz, Mac Hollowell
