  • Update 1:20 p.m.: The Canes have placed Trevor Carrick on waivers for the purpose of sending him to Charlotte, likely indicating that Klas Dahlbeck and Haydn Fleury will both make the team once the final roster cuts are announced.

  • The Board of Governors approved a rule change that penalizes unsuccessful offside challenges with a delay of game penalty, so say goodbye to the Canes being the least penalized team in the league.
