The Hurricanes played on Friday night without Brett Pesce, who was injured on Thursday in Washington while participating in the morning skate. Pesce has been placed on IR and will miss at least today’s game.
Derek Ryan was also out on Friday after being boarded by Tom Wilson and suffering an upper body injury. Furthermore, both Elias Lindholm and Joakim Nordstrom were out of Friday’s game with an illness. Their status is unknown for now, but we’ll keep you updated as we get closer to game time update: both will play today, but Ryan will not be in the lineup again..
