A little over a week after Andrei Svechnikov scored his first NHL goal, Martin Necas did the same.
In the second period in Tampa Bay on Tuesday, Necas slammed a one-timer from Warren Foegele past Lightning goalie Louis Domingue.

Foegele got the primary assist and Valentin Zykov got the secondary assist - Zykov’s first point of the season.
