In game three of 2018 second-overall pick Andrei Svechnikov’s NHL career, he scored his first of what is expected to be many, many goals in a Carolina Hurricanes jersey.

Justin Faulk threw the shot on net, and it was Svechnikov who got his stick on the puck.
It gave the Hurricanes a 6-5 lead in the third period of Sunday night’s win over the New York Rangers.
