Game Notes
- Tonight’s game is the second and final between the two teams this season. The Hurricanes pulled off a win in Chicago on Thursday night.
- The Hurricanes recorded 52 shots on goal in regulation on Saturday night against the Red Wings, but could only convert three of them to goals. The team is first in the league in shots for, 24th in the league in goals for, and dead last in shooting percentage.
- Sebastian Aho hasn’t scored a goal in twelve games after an electric start to the season. Despite a goal drought, he’s logged an impressive ten assists in that time frame.
- After a shootout loss on Saturday, the Hurricanes have won just three of their last ten. They desperately need a win tonight in Raleigh to get this homestand back on track.
- Tonight’s game is Cam Ward’s first game back in PNC Arena since his departure from the club this offseason.
