Game Notes
- The Hurricanes trail all-time with a 54-68-16 record against the Rangers, including a 19-42-9 record in New York
- The Hurricanes and Rangers will play four times this season, and tonight marks the third matchup. The Rangers took both the November and December matchups by lopsided scores, winning 5-1 and 6-1 respectively. The last game of the season series will come on March 31st in Raleigh.
