Hurricanes Cut Four More Players from Training Camp Roster

The training camp roster now sits at 35 players.

The Carolina Hurricanes announced four more training camp roster cuts ahead of their fourth preseason game on Tuesday against the Nashville Predators.

Forwards Morgan Geekie and Andrew Poturalski, defenseman Dan Renouf, and goalie Callum Booth have been assigned to the Charlotte Checkers, who started their training camp on Monday.

The Hurricanes’ 2018 training camp roster now stands at 35 players. The full updated roster can be found here.

The Canes will take on the Nashville Predators at Bridgestone Arena tonight at 8:00 pm EST.

RALEIGH, NC - Don Waddell, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has assigned forwards Morgan Geekie and Andrew Poturalski, defenseman Dan Renouf, and goaltender Callum Booth to the Charlotte Checkers (AHL).

The Hurricanes’ training camp roster now stands at 35 players and can be found here. Carolina will practice as one group Wednesday morning at PNC Arena at 11:45 a.m.
