Game Notes
- The Hurricanes are playing at home on Black Friday for the third consecutive season. Tonight marks the 26th Black Friday game in franchise history, with the team owning a 15-8-2-0 record. The Canes are 4-4-0 on Black Friday in PNC Arena.
- The Canes will be donning their black alternate uniforms for the fourth time out of 15. Since debuting their third jerseys last summer, the Hurricanes own a 19-4-2 record in the black thread, including a 3-0-0 record this season.
- The Hurricanes and Predators are meeting for the first of two matchups this season. The Canes will round out the season with a visit to Bridgestone Arena in February.
