Tonight could be the night.
Following an overtime loss in Game 1 of the Calder Cup Finals, the Charlotte Checkers have ripped off three straight wins and are one win away from clinching their first American Hockey League title. A win tonight will give the Checkers the first championship for a minor-league affiliate of the Carolina Hurricanes since the Springfield Indians won the 1991 Calder Cup.
The game will be live on NHL Network, and there are a number of restaurants in both Charlotte and Raleigh showing the game. If you know of any restaurants showing the game, feel free to share them in the comments.
