2020 NHL All-Star Tournament Rosters and Discussion

After winning the accuracy shooting contest last night, what will Jaccob Slavin do for an encore tonight?

The NHL’s best face off tonight in the Gateway City with a million bucks on the line.

Forty-four players are in St. Louis today for the NHL All-Star tournament, featuring three-on-three mini games between the divisions that will end with one team returning home with a share of the $1 million top prize. Last night’s skills competition saw Jaccob Slavin take the win in the accuracy shooting competition, the second straight year that the Hurricanes’ representative showed well in the discipline after Sebastian Aho finished second last year. Mathew Barzal of the Islanders dethroned Connor McDavid as the fastest skater, and the U.S. and Canada women’s national teams put on a wildly exciting 3-on-3 exhibition that stole the show and was played at a tempo that we are, ahem, somewhat unlikely to see repeated tonight.

Here are the rosters for the four teams. The two Eastern Conference teams will play each other first, followed by the two divisions from the West, and the winners will face off for the million dollar bonus. Feel free to chat about the night’s action in the comments!
