Carolina Hurricanes at Arizona Coyotes: Lineups and Game Discussion

The Hurricanes will look to rebound from one of their tougher losses this season Thursday night, as they head into the Gila River Arena to take on the Arizona Coyotes.

This will be the second game of a four-game road trip for Carolina, as the Canes look to get back on the right track. Sebastian Aho brings a three-game goal streak into the contest, while defenseman Jaccob Slavin has assisted in four straight.

After Petr Mrazek struggled in net Tuesday against St. Louis, it will be the hot James Reimer in net for the Canes Thursday. Here is how Rod Brind’Amour’s squad should line up:

The Coyotes are coming off a 3-0 win over the Edmonton Oilers, but had lost five straight before that. Arizona got goals from Conor Garland, Lawson Crouse and Christian Dvorak in that win over Edmonton.

After getting traded mid-season, Taylor Hall leads the way for Arizona with 13 goals and 30 assists. Center Nick Schmaltz has 30 assists as well, while Garland leads the team with 18 goals.

Like the Canes, Arizona is right in the heat of the wild card race, but the Coyotes will be looking to build some momentum off a strong win over Edmonton. Here’s how Rick Tocchet’s team should line up:
