Players Opting Out
When the Return To Play plan was agreed upon, every player was given the option to opt-out of the 2020 playoffs with no repercussion. Those players had to let their team know by yesterday at 5 p.m. of their decision. Here is who we know of at this time:

- Travis Hamonic - Calgary Flames
- Roman Polak - Dallas Stars
- Mike Green - Edmonton Oilers
- Karl Alzner - Montreal Canadiens
- Zach Trotman - Pittsburgh Penguins
- Sven Baertschi - Vancouver Canucks
- Mike Kitchen (assistant coach) - Florida Panthers
- Max Domi and the Canadiens have agreed to take a little extra time to determine the best course of action:
