Players Opting Out

When the Return To Play plan was agreed upon, every player was given the option to opt-out of the 2020 playoffs with no repercussion. Those players had to let their team know by yesterday at 5 p.m. of their decision. Here is who we know of at this time:

• Steven Kampfer - Boston Bruins
• Travis Hamonic - Calgary Flames
• Roman Polak - Dallas Stars
• Mike Green - Edmonton Oilers
• Karl Alzner - Montreal Canadiens
• Zach Trotman - Pittsburgh Penguins
• Sven Baertschi - Vancouver Canucks
• Mike Kitchen (assistant coach) - Florida Panthers
• Max Domi and the Canadiens have agreed to take a little extra time to determine the best course of action:
