I am truly grateful for this opportunity that the @Canes organization has given me. The fans here expect & deserve a certain level of excellence. - We may have to wait a little while for the Svechnikov vs Svechnikov contest and it appears Evgeny is injured:
Svechnikov gets the "unfit to practice" designation -- which, again, covers injury and illness. Certainly, we all saw him come off the ice with an apparent injury, but it sounds like that's the only designation we're going to get out of the team for anyone missing practice.

- Lastly, lets take a second to consider just how ludicrous this ask is from the Jets:
The Carolina Hurricanes are still very much interested in Patrik Laine, I'm told. The asking price remains an issue, though, as the Winnipeg Jets seem to want Pesce & Necas in a deal and so far Carolina has balked.
