The Carolina Hurricanes will be hosting the Nashville Predators tonight at PNC Arena as the Canes look to take advantage of a struggling team to help their climb in the standings.

The Canes enter tonight’s contest the winners of five-straight and currently sport a 2-0-0 record over Nashville this season.

The Predators on the other hand snapped a three-game losing streak on Sunday in a 4-3 shootout win over the Dallas Stars.

It wasn’t too pretty for Nashville who saw a 3-0 lead dissolve in the final eight minutes of regulation, but they managed to squeeze out a win in the shootout.

Although both teams will have some key injuries tonight, Nashville has had a tough go at it as of late on the injury front.

Carolina Hurricanes Projected Lineup

The Hurricanes practiced today before the game and neither Jake Gardiner nor Teuvo Tervainen were out on the ice.

Head coach Rod Brind’Amour commented after Thursday’s game that Teravainen would miss more time due to concussion symptoms and following today’s practice said that Gardiner was dealing with back issues.

Other than those two, Petr Mrazek is still a ways out due to his thumb injury so the Canes will continue their goaltender rotation with Alex Nedeljkovic in net tonight.

Here is how the rest of the skaters will lineup for Carolina:
