With the NHL returning to a somewhat normal schedule this year, that means preseason games are back. The Hurricanes announced their exhibition schedule Monday, and it’ll come against familiar foes.
The Canes will play four preseason games to get ready for the 2021 season, a home and home with the Nashville Predators and Tampa Bay Lightning. The Canes will open the preseason against the Bolts on Tuesday, Sept. 28 at 7 p.m. at PNC Arena and wrap it up on Saturday, Oct. 9 at 8 p.m. against Nashville at Bridgestone Arena.
