Will the Hurricanes bring their home success with them on the road?

The Carolina Hurricanes turned their game around with some home cooking at the PNC last week.

Not only did they pick up two wins to improve their record to 5-4-0, they shut down their opponents with some stifling team defense which was a reminder of last season’s dominant performance.

They allowed 26 shots in the win against the Kraken and just 20 shots against the Sharks.

The team now returns to the road for three games and will start out against the Philadelphia Flyers tonight for their first game within the Metropolitan Division.

The Flyers have had a mixed start as well. They have a 4-3-1 record and their last game resulted in a 7-4 loss to the Ducks.

One item of interest: Carolina defenseman, Tony DeAngelo, will play against his former team from last season for the first time since being bought out during the offseason.

The lineups will be announced later.

Game time is 7 P.M. and it will be televised by Bally Sports South.
