Hurricanes @ Islanders: Game Preview and Game Thread

The Canes continue their road trip tonight against the Islanders.

The Carolina Hurricanes (6-5-0) face the New York Islanders (5-2-2) tonight at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York.

The game will be televised by Bally Sports South and will start at 7:30. The game preview will be at 7.

The Canes are coming off a disappointing, but pretty well played, 2-1 loss at Madison Square Garden. The Islanders beat the Capitals 3-0 in their last game.

The team did not have a morning skate so the starting goalie and lineups are unknown at this time. More will be known closer to game time.
