The Carolina Hurricanes are in Ottawa to take on the Senators tonight. Game time is 7 P.M. and it will be televised by Bally Sports South.

The Canes have lost four in a row, all on the road. Their record has dropped to 14-12-1 and they currently sit in sixth place in the Metropolitan Division with 29 points.

The Sens are 11-11-0 with 22 points. They won their last game which was against Detroit but currently sit in last place in the the Atlantic.

Walt Ruff reported on twitter that Kochetkov was the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate. Looks like he will get the start tonight.

Brind’Amour apparently used the “blendomatic” for the lines in the morning skate.

Walt reported that the defensive pairings were the same. Brett Pesce missed a day because of sickness but attended the morning skate as usual.

Brind’Amour also gave an update on injured star Andrei Svechnikov. He will “be out at least for awhile.” Take that info as you will.
