Hurricanes @ Flames - Preview and Game Thread

The Canes have a good chance to right the ship against the Flames tonight.

The Carolina Hurricanes look to put last night’s “embarrassing” performance behind them as they take on the Calgary Flames tonight in the Saddledome.

The Canes have suffered losses in their past two games and now have a 14-10-1 record.

The Flames are 10-12-3 and have also lost two games in a row.

Calgary goaltender Jacob Markstrom broke his finger and is out of commission for awhile so the team recalled AHL goalie Dustin Wolf and he will play tonight.

Wolf is no slouch though and was the most valuable player in the AHL last season. He currently has a 10-3-2 record and a save percentage of .920 for his AHL team.

Former Cane Elias Lindholm leads his team with 17 points and seven goals. Nazem Kadri has a team best 11 assists.

I’m not sure who will start in net for Carolina.

Game time is at 9 eastern and it will be broadcast by Bally Sports South.
