The long awaited preseason starts tonight at the PNC arena as the Hurricanes take on the Tampa Bay Lightning. Game time is 7 P.M.
Don’t expect to see many regulars on the ice, most of the try out players and newbies will get an opportunity to earn a spot on the club.
Familiar faces will be in net though as Frederik Andersen and Pyotr Kotchekov will share the duties.
The roster currently shows eight blueliners so two of them will be trimmed before game time.
Chatfield, Jones, Orlov, Coghlan, DeAngelo, Seeley, Montgomery, and Beaulieu are on the lineup card at the moment.
The forwards listed are - Aston-Reese, Bellows, Unger-Sorum, Halbgewachs, Gunler, Perlini, Conacher, Robidas, Suziki, Shore, Reese, and Murray.
I will not hazard to guess what the lines are going to be but will comment during the game.
The contest will be live streamed and can be accessed from the CH.com homepage.
